We look forward to seeing you then.
One down, one to go!
We’ve just had a great evening in the presence of God.
Team member David Gilbey led the worship and was our speaker, giving his testimony and speaking about what the Bible has to say about healing and how as Believers in Jesus, we can do the same things as he did as he went around healing the sick and bring the presence of the Kingdom of God to the world.
A couple of people received the Baptism of the Holy Spirit for the first time and many were ministered to for healing. One man came up with back problems and his left leg was seen to grow out about a centimeter! God was certainly at work.
Our next exciting meeting is on Thursday 10th May, with Ian McCormack, the “Jellyfish Man”.
Note that this meeting will be at the URC in Market Hill, Maldon.
We would love to see you there.
Two exciting meetings in May
We are pleased to be holding two meetings in the month of May
Our own Team member, David Gilbey will be speaking at our usual first Friday of the month meeting and the following week, at a different venue in Maldon, we are pleased to welcome back Ian McCormack, the “Jellyfish Man” who will be sharing his amazing testimony.
We’ve just had a meeting!
You’ve just missed our meeting for April, which was brought forward one week because of Easter.
We had an anointed time and were blessed by our guest speaker Dave Pickett, who came to us from Thundersley, Essex.
Our next meetings are in May, and we have not one but TWO! Our usual meeting will be on Friday 4th May, when Team Member and former police officer, David Gilbey will be sharing.
On Thursday 10th May, we are excited to have Ian McCormack, the “Jellyfish Man” back with us, but at a meeting at the United Reformed Church on Market Hill, Maldon.
Download posters and leaflets here – invite your friends. Great evenings in God’s presence are promised.
Next Meeting Friday 30th March
Dave Pickett
Dave was in the Royal Marines and served as a RM Commando for 12 years seeing active service in N. Ireland, Cyprus and the Falklands War. After the Falklands War he remembered the soldier’s prayer that he had prayed everyday… ‘God get me out of this in one piece, and I will come to Church!’ as he thought on this and about the Christian faith this led him to ultimately put his faith and trust in Jesus Christ.
Dave passionately believes in having ‘adventures with God’ and believes that life with Jesus is full of exciting opportunities to serve and enjoy living out the Christian life.
Christianity Dull & Boring?? We don’t think so, come and be enthused by this man’s story.
Note: this meeting is instead of 6th April which is Good Friday
We’ve just met… but only 4 weeks to the next one!
We’ve just had our meeting with Speaker John Wright and had an amazing time in God’s presence with wonderful worship, salvations, people being baptised in the Holy Spirit and ministry for healing.
We started tonight’s meeting with about 40 minutes of worship, led by David Gilbey. We invited the Holy Spirit to come and move amongst us and He surely did. There was an awesome sense of God in the church. Several people, including John as he stood up to speak, commented about the tangible nature of His presence. One lady afterwards said that she saw a figure of a man, (an angel perhaps?), walking around as we worshipped and said she saw a cloud of what she described as “gold dust” falling at one point. It was certainly a remarkable time, during which there was a message in tongues with another person bringing interpretation about a river of God’s blessing flowing.
Skin condition healed – Roland Tann then gave some announcements and told us that a lady was prayed for at the last meeting, who for many years had had a large mole on her nose. Following the meeting, and over a period of several days, the skin flaked off and now the mole has completely gone!
John then spoke, and you can read more of what he said here on our Previous meetings page. Afterwards he gave an appeal to receive Salvation in Jesus, and two people responded. Others came forward to receive the Baptism, the fulness of the Holy Spirit and a large number of people came forward for prayer over a number of physical situations. We look forward to hearing reports that people were healed, as they went from the meeting.
Our next meeting – Friday 2nd March
Speaker – John Wright
Amongst his talents, John Wright is a former Bank Chairman and Massey Ferguson Tractor Dealer and International Director of the FGBMFI. Educated at some of the best schools and universities, as a bachelor of 32 it seemed as if he had a brilliant career before him. But although there has been much blessing in his life, he has seen tribulation; businesses collapsed, a desert experience of two years of unemployment, suffering cancer and finally the underserved humiliation of prison. All this has built a man of faith and endurance whose sense of humour has never left him. His testimony will move you from tears to laughter and will be an encouragement to anyone.
John also runs a publishing company, Branch Press, and is an accomplished author of several books and booklets which carry amazing stories of miracles and God-incidences!
John was last with us early last year and we are so pleased he has agreed to return. Come meet and hear what God has to say through him. You can also read his testimony here.
Check out this page for general information about our meetings.
You’ve just missed a great evening!
Sorry, you will have to wait a whole month now for our next Flame of Revival Meeting!
We had a time of great blessing tonight at our February meeting. Following a time worship with much “singing in the Spirit” (using other tongues as described in the book of Acts), Roland Tann spoke and gave his testimony and spoke about how God wants us to have freedom from being oppressed.
He read from Psalm 103 1-6:
Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
A number of people came out to be Baptised (filled) with the Holy Spirit and a number for ministry for physical and emotional issues.
THE DEAF WILL HEAR!
Also, after the meeting had ended, one of the Team was speaking to a lady who just happened to mention she was deaf in one ear and had been for many, many years. She wasn’t even asking for prayer, but was willing to receive it anyway and as she was ministered to, she said she could hear from it! AMEN!
NEXT MONTH
We meet again on Friday 2nd March.
Check out here for details of our speaker John Wright.
We meet again!
A reminder that our first meeting of 2012 will be on Friday 3rd February at 7.30pm
Our very own Roland Tann will be speaking. Come and be blessed by The Word of God and there will of course be ministry afterwards for anyone in need of healing or for any other issue or concern.
Also, we are gradually getting our Speakers booked for our future meetings – check out here to see who we’ve got coming… oh and to find out about our Special Extra Meeting in May…

Do you know Jesus?
In our November 2011 meeting, a wonderful poem called Knowing Him, was read out that spoke of finding a real faith in Jesus Christ
Jesus is our Saviour and our Healer and the only real answer to the problems we face and those which seem to be overwhelming this world in which we live.
