Our next meeting – Friday 2nd March
Speaker – John Wright
Amongst his talents, John Wright is a former Bank Chairman and Massey Ferguson Tractor Dealer and International Director of the FGBMFI. Educated at some of the best schools and universities, as a bachelor of 32 it seemed as if he had a brilliant career before him. But although there has been much blessing in his life, he has seen tribulation; businesses collapsed, a desert experience of two years of unemployment, suffering cancer and finally the underserved humiliation of prison. All this has built a man of faith and endurance whose sense of humour has never left him. His testimony will move you from tears to laughter and will be an encouragement to anyone.
John also runs a publishing company, Branch Press, and is an accomplished author of several books and booklets which carry amazing stories of miracles and God-incidences!
John was last with us early last year and we are so pleased he has agreed to return. Come meet and hear what God has to say through him. You can also read his testimony here.
Check out this page for general information about our meetings.
You’ve just missed a great evening!
Sorry, you will have to wait a whole month now for our next Flame of Revival Meeting!
We had a time of great blessing tonight at our February meeting. Following a time worship with much “singing in the Spirit” (using other tongues as described in the book of Acts), Roland Tann spoke and gave his testimony and spoke about how God wants us to have freedom from being oppressed.
He read from Psalm 103 1-6:
Praise the LORD, my soul; all my inmost being, praise his holy name. Praise the LORD, my soul, and forget not all his benefits— who forgives all your sins and heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit and crowns you with love and compassion, who satisfies your desires with good things so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s. The LORD works righteousness and justice for all the oppressed.
A number of people came out to be Baptised (filled) with the Holy Spirit and a number for ministry for physical and emotional issues.
THE DEAF WILL HEAR!
Also, after the meeting had ended, one of the Team was speaking to a lady who just happened to mention she was deaf in one ear and had been for many, many years. She wasn’t even asking for prayer, but was willing to receive it anyway and as she was ministered to, she said she could hear from it! AMEN!
NEXT MONTH
We meet again on Friday 2nd March.

We meet again!

Do you know Jesus?
In our November 2011 meeting, a wonderful poem called Knowing Him, was read out that spoke of finding a real faith in Jesus Christ
Jesus is our Saviour and our Healer and the only real answer to the problems we face and those which seem to be overwhelming this world in which we live.

Our Next meeting is on Friday 3rd February

2012 promises to be a exciting time. With the Prime Minister recently declaring and affirming that Great Britain is indeed a Christian Country and we “should not be afraid to say so”, and Her Majesty the Queen giving a Gospel message during her Christmas day speech, it is time for the Church to stand up and declare the same -with signs and wonders accompanying!
Come and join us this year as we continue to proclaim the saving love of Jesus with ministry to those in need of healing.
Change of plan for February
Unfortunately, we have just learnt that Johannes Barthel can no longer make it for our February 2012 meeting. Instead, he is hoping to be with us in June
Apologies to those who already had publicity leafets or posters, and we would ask that you destroy them. Once a new speaker is booked for February we will let you know and re issue material.
We’re sorry you’ve just missed it!
Our last meeting of 2011 has just taken place and our next meeting is scheduled for Friday 3rd February 2012, with Johannes Barthel
from Germany
We had a great time last night with Dan Chesney - see full write up - who spoke powerfully on Faith. This is what Flame of Revival Team member David Gilbey had to say about he message Dan brought:
“We had a brilliant Flame of Revival meeting last night at Great Baddow. Dan spoke wonderfully on the subject of Faith. One particular thing he said really struck a chord with me, that Biblical faith -one of my favorite subjects – is not a vague hope that it might… but a certain knowledge that it WILL. That our faith should be firmly rooted in the past – what Jesus did on the Cross – but has its fulfillment in the future.
He quoted the story of Jairus’s daughter from Mark 6, where Jairus exercised great faith and humility in asking Jesus to heal his daughter, saw Jesus respond, but then saw Him distracted by the crowd and a women with an issue of blood. Meanwhile, back home, his daughter died.
Jairus had every reason to blame Jesus, or perhaps the woman for Him not getting there sooner; to look at his daughter’s dead body and say to himself, it’s too late! But Jesus is never too late and in verse 36, Jesus comes to him and says, “Don’t be afraid, just (or only) believe”. We too have a choice, to look at our physical circumstances, or only believe – have “faith” in a supernatural God.
The implication is that If at that point Jairus had walked away in doubt and unbelief, his daughter would have remained dead. It has the same impact for the things we pray for. It seems it is possible to void our prayers by lack of faith or having doubt and unbelief.
But we can be assured that whatever we ask for in His name HAS been done, and we simply need to believe that what is already done in heaven so to speak, WILL if we are patient and continue to believe, be manifested here on earth. Sometimes the answer to our prayers will appear quickly, sometimes a long period will elapse. But when we ask and pray, God already knew that the prayer was coming (he knew us from before we were created in our mother’s womb) and already had the answer on the way.
So the way I see it, from the evidence of Scripture, when we pray it is IMPOSSIBLE FOR NOTHING TO HAPPEN, except if we stop believing. Exciting and challenging stuff!”
Our next meeting
Our next meeting is at 7.30pm on Friday 2nd December 2011

The Light of Heaven or the darkness of hell
Ian McCormack, the “Jellyfish Man”, lays it on the line
Thank you to the many, many people who crowded into our meeting last night to hear the amazing and challenging testimony of Ian McCormack, of how he died, went to hell, then was taken to heaven, saw Jesus and returned to life just as a doctor was about to commence a Post Mortem examination.
Thank you to Ian as he recounted his story in great detail, taking many Scriptures from the Bible to illustrate and evidence what he had experienced.
More details of our evening together can be found here.
Our next Flame of Revival Meeting will be on 2nd December and our guest speaker is Dan Chesney
Next meeting Friday 4th November, with The Jellyfish Man!
Just one week to go before our next Flame of Revival Meeting.
Come and worship God, receive from the Holy Spirit and hear an amazing testimony from our guest speaker, Ian McCormack who, after being stung by deadly Box Jellyfish, died and later returned to life just before a Post Mortem examination on him was commenced!
His life and death experince changed his life completely. Your life can be changed forever too!
We believe this meeting will be very well attended, so come early to get a seat.
